Leadership Opportunity in Digital Marketing

Seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Melbourne media team. Ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in digital marketing with leadership roles.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading large teams, mentoring junior staff, managing key client relationships and implementing performance-focused digital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee media buyers, planners, strategists, and digital experts.
  • Mentor a small team of digital professionals.
  • Act as the first point of contact for digital marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate and implement performance-driven digital media campaigns.
  • Communicate with clients on project expectations, performance, strategies, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results-oriented work.
  • Generate reports on budget, conversion, traffic, and creative performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and strategies across digital platforms.
Requirements
  • Based in Melbourne, AU.
  • Minimum 8+ years in digital marketing with leadership experience.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Tag Manager, AdWords, SEO, and Google algorithms.
  • Understanding of Meta platform advertising best practices.
  • Previous experience managing teams required.
  • Relevant tertiary degree.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficient in project management and documentation.
  • Excellent networker with ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Passion for digital marketing with knowledge of social media, emerging technologies, e-commerce, hosting/video hosting, testing/QA.
  • Skilled in online advertising campaigns (paid and organic).
  • Budget management and reporting experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
