Event Support Specialist Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable Event Support Specialist to join our casual pool. This role plays a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of events by providing on-site support and acting as the primary liaison between the client and the venue during event operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the on-site point of contact for clients throughout their event.
  • Assist with AV and technical setup (e.g., microphones, video conferencing, speaker volume).
  • Support coffee set-ups, and catering.
  • Ensure event spaces are clean, presentable, and configured to client specifications.
  • Provide responsive and professional support during events, including troubleshooting minor issues.
Requirements
  • Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
  • Open availability to weekday and weekend work.
  • Capable working independently without supervision.
  • Confident with basic AV/technology or willing to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
