Job Opportunity: Medical Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced medical receptionist who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes delivering exceptional patient service, general administration, answering phone calls, arranging hospital bookings, managing patient records, preparing rooms and equipment, and typing letters and reports.

Requirements:

  • Reliable team player with excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Possess recent experience in medical specialist reception, preferably with electronic practice management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Liaising with medical specialists, doctors, hospitals, and allied healthcare professionals.
  • General administrative tasks including answering phone calls, booking appointments, and managing correspondence.
  • Arranging hospital bookings and tests as required, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Managing patient billing, cash collection, receipting, and reconciliation accurately and efficiently.
  • Confidentially managing patient medical records, maintaining data integrity, and adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Preparing rooms, equipment, and paperwork for various tests, procedures, and appointments.
  • Typing documents, reports, and letters to the highest standard, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
