The Role

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Team Lead to join our team in Melbourne. As part of our diverse team, you will play a critical role in overseeing the execution of our annual audit plan, ensuring we meet schedule B assurance requirements and continuous improvement. You will also supervise the day-to-day work activity and coach and develop our Compliance Officers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of our annual audit plan to support assurance requirements and continuous improvement;
  • BUILD TRUSTED RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS TO FACILITATE THE SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAMS;
  • Contribute to the effective management of our Vic business via continuous improvement and risk management activities;
  • Lead a team of Compliance Officers.

About You

  • You have a strong understanding of Victorian Workers' Compensation requirements, WorkSafe, and EML systems or the ability to develop knowledge quickly;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within the Victorian Workers' Compensation sector or equivalent experience in another sector;
  • Experience in risk, compliance, and leadership is highly desirable;
  • Superior communication and relationship-building skills;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong personal responsibility ideals and customer service skills.
