Job Title: Environmental Sustainability and Compliance Lead

The role of Environmental Sustainability and Compliance Lead is crucial in ensuring our operations align with the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement local EHS procedures that comply with national regulations and Asahi Beverages' policies.
  • Drive incident and risk management processes through coaching and support to ensure timely reporting, investigation, and corrective actions.
  • Implement and monitor national safety and wellbeing programs.
  • Oversee compliance with EHS standards (AS45001, ISO14001) and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct internal and external audits, supporting sites to implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with site leadership and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations and effective issue resolution.
  • Deliver training programs to build safety awareness and drive cultural change within the workforce.
  • Act as the point of contact for day-to-day safety and compliance matters.
About You

You will be a proactive and confident EHS professional who thrives in fast-paced environments. Strong relationship management skills, resilience, and ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes are essential.

A relevant qualification in Health and Safety (Diploma or higher preferred) is required. Proven experience in EHS roles within medium to large organizations, preferably in FMCG or construction, is ideal.

Expertise in compliance and safety management systems, including AS45001 and ISO14001, is also necessary. Exceptional interpersonal skills, facilitation, change management, and organizational agility are key attributes.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
