Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for implementing our HSE management system and programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will be working in a collaborative team environment and will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the safety of our projects.

  • Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement HSE management systems and programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Monitor and review Project HSE Management Plans, including Emergency Response Plans
  • Facilitate toolbox meetings to address local HSE issues and consult with workers to improve site safety
  • Cosnult on hazard and risk management tools and reinforce safe behaviors
  • Investigate incidents and perform HSE inspections with site personnel
  • Support injury management on site

About You:

  • Experience in a similar role in large-scale Civil Construction or infrastructure projects
  • Formal OSH Qualifications such as Cert IV or Diploma
  • Cert 4 in Training and Assessment - An advantage
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills
  • C' class drivers' license and ability to pass pre-employment medical
