Job Title: Senior Electrical Operations Manager

Job Description

The role of Senior Electrical Operations Manager is to oversee and direct electrical operations on large-scale construction sites. Key responsibilities include supervising craft personnel, ensuring compliance with specifications and schedules, and implementing safety procedures.

  • Supervise and direct electrical craft and subordinate supervisors to ensure efficient operation of the electrical discipline.
  • Inspect the site for unsafe conditions and take corrective action to address any breaches.
Main Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to personnel assigned to the electrical department, emphasizing the importance of safety and compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate safety training and enforce safe work practices across the site.
  • Monitor activities of craft personnel to ensure adherence to specifications and schedules.
  • Responsible for cost optimization, scheduling, and labor management within the electrical discipline.
  • Interface with Labor/Industrial Relations to develop recruitment and training programs for electrical craft personnel.
  • Review and approve subcontractor equipment and personnel mobilization and demobilization.
  • Implement corporate project policies, procedures, and instructions within the electrical operations.
  • Coordinate established area operational plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a combination of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in electrical operations management. Key qualifications include:

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • 8-12 years of experience in electrical operations management, including experience on LNG construction sites.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
