W3Global is a prominent player in the commercial fit-out and shopfitting industry, collaborating with some of the most recognized brands across various sectors including retail, hospitality, and franchises. We are currently in search of a skilled Fitout Project Manager.

Role Overview

In the capacity of a Project Manager, you will take charge of overseeing projects from inception to completion, working closely with our dedicated team of Managers, Administrators, On-Site Tradesmen, and contractors. You will typically handle multiple projects at once, and given the dynamic nature of our industry, exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the complete project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  2. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to meet project specifications effectively.
  3. Employ existing third-party software to construct and oversee project plans, budget reports, KPIs, financial forecasts, progress payments, variations, and claims submissions. Develop and sustain project schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
  4. Ensure clear and effective communication among all project stakeholders.
  5. Engage in identifying and resolving any trade-specific challenges, providing alternatives and solutions to support the on-site team.
  6. Comply with company policies regarding quality assurance to maintain high standards across all projects.
  7. Exhibit a strong work ethic and dedication to achieving scheduled project outcomes while motivating colleagues and subcontractors to complete tasks on time and to a high standard.
  8. Collaborate with management to execute work against construction timelines, focusing on meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Demonstrated experience in managing fit-out and refurbishment projects.
  2. Expertise in contract management and tendering processes.
  3. Ability to manage relationships effectively within a team environment.
  4. Familiarity with Australian Building Regulatory Standards.
  5. Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with all internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Exceptional organizational and communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  7. Possession of a full driver's license.
  8. Self-driven with a proven ability to take initiative in a fast-paced setting.
