Disability Support Career Opportunity

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives. As a Disability Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with clients who require assistance with daily living activities and support them in achieving their personal development goals.

The role involves providing individualized care and support to clients in a safe and inclusive environment. You will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities (e.g., grooming, bathing, dressing).
  • Support clients in achieving their personal development goals and fostering independence.
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment for clients.
  • Monitor and record client progress, reporting concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintain open communication with clients, families, and team members.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (highly desirable).
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
