Empowering Lives through Disability Support

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop personalized support programs.
The role involves assessing client needs, interviewing and planning support programs, monitoring progress, and liaising with community groups and organizations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing client needs and developing personalized support programs
- Interviewing and planning support programs with clients and families
- Monitoring progress and adjusting support programs as needed
- Liaising with community groups and organizations to ensure comprehensive support
Requirements:
- Strong client focus and ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing circumstances
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in challenging situations
Preferred qualifications include:
- Cert IV or Diploma in Community Services
- Relevant work experience in Disability Support Services or a related sector
- Lived experience of disability (an asset)
