Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Partnerships Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the revenue and growth of The Ambassador Platform in the APAC region, focusing on driving new business, client retention, and upselling. This role involves working closely with clients, internal teams, and our strategic partner, IDP, to localize strategies and ensure sustained growth.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years experience in higher education or EdTech in a commercial role, with a strong focus on the APAC region.
- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and delivering a business development strategy for business development, including creating new commercial models to drive growth.
- Ability to develop and deliver a current client retention strategy, with a view to maximising and retaining existing revenue.
- Demonstrated ability to directly drive new business revenue through sales activity.
- Experience managing customer success teams and delivering on retention and upsell targets.
- Deep understanding of the APAC market dynamics, including cultural and business nuances.
- A strategic thinker who is able to create and execute a long-term plan for the market.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A quick learner who has a curious mind and strong problem-solving abilities.
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience working in a global business.
- Expert knowledge of the ANZ higher education sector and connections within that network.
- Experience in management reporting to be able to effectively communicate the status and needs of the APAC business to other stakeholders within the wider company.
