The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to join our dynamic project team based at our Head Office in Port Adelaide. As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery, management, and coordination of infrastructure projects.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of a significant infrastructure program, ensuring alignment with strategic and business objectives through effective project controls.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster communication and collaboration among internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless project delivery and issue resolution.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor the Project Officer, guiding them on tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong connections with internal groups, operations, consultants, and contractors.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present progress reports, performance metrics, and documentation, highlighting achievements and addressing challenges for the leadership team and stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks while driving process improvements and innovation within the program.
Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma of Project Management or an equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience.
  • Advanced organisational skills including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Agile approach and strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in program or project management within the infrastructure sector (5 years + desirable but not essential).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successful team coordination.
  • Ability to engage and present to program stakeholders and leadership.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • A salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Paid parental leave, up to 16 weeks for primary carers and 8 weeks for non-primary carers including superannuation guarantee on base wages (pro rata for part-time employees) whilst on parental leave.
  • Ability to purchase an additional 2 weeks of annual leave per annum.
  • Up to 8 paid hours per annum to volunteer.
  • Up to 3 days per annum of Cultural Leave for First Nations employees.
