Job Overview

This role involves managing a portfolio of specialist clients, identifying new business opportunities within local communities, and delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Manage commercial relationships and complex lending up to $15 million.
  • Develop strong networks with local industry, business, and community groups to enhance the bank's profile in the community.
  • Connect with clients through quality conversations to design and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Build lasting relationships focused on acquiring new clients.
  • Identify and lead business development activities to optimize growth prospects in the region.
  • Collaborate with corporate and community bank branches who are well respected and engaged with their communities.
  • Form partnership relationships with branch managers, coach, and lead education of Branch teams and Business Support teams, build trusted relationships with Credit Risk.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide banking services to diverse business clients with complex needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities within local communities and maintain exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with Regional Managers and branches to attract and retain opportunities.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in business or finance.
  • The ability to undertake travel and possession of a current driver license.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business lending and credit risk principles.
  • Financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of business banking market conditions, products, cash flows, and markets.
