Strategic Finance Operations Lead

We seek a dynamic professional to join our Business Services and Outsourcing team. The role will be at either Manager or Senior Manager grade, based on prior experience.
About The RoleThis is not an average Business services accounts practice role. It involves enhancing clients' internal finance functions by acting as part of their finance team or streamlining their accounts processes.
Main Responsibilities- Review clients' processes to recommend improvements.
- Produce timely and accurate management accounts serving as a trustworthy foundation for financial planning and strategy for clients.
- Assist in developing comprehensive management reporting packs to empower clients with necessary data for strategic decisions.
- Produce and review VAT returns for various clients across multiple industries.
- Cultivate a high-performing team through effective leadership, training, support, and development.
- Hold ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA qualification or demonstrate similar level of expertise via experience.
- Prior experience within an accountancy/bookkeeping practice or professional services environment is preferred but not essential.
- High-level IT proficiency and ability to use various packages (Xero, Quickbooks, Sage) and high-level Excel skills are necessary.
- Prior practical experience in drafting management accounts, producing and reporting on management accounts, setting up accounting systems/functions, and completing VAT returns is required.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with diverse clients are essential.
