Overview

Job Description - Client Services Manager (251469). Client Services Manager - (251469). Description: Client Services Manager. Temporary contract (to the end of March 2026), part time (22.5 hpw). Salary £27,338 to £28,890 per annum [pro rata] and great benefits including Health Cash Plan plus on-call shift payment of £14.30 per session.

Join us as our Client Services Manager and lead our East Ipswich team to deliver person-centred housing-related support and create a Great Place to Work for our colleagues. You'll manage services which house customers experiencing severe and enduring mental health conditions, who may also have substance misuse issues and/or a mild learning disability in 24/7 supported and less supported housing in East Ipswich.

Responsibilities
  • Lead our team of support workers and coordinators to deliver person-centred, efficient, high-quality housing support services aligned to contracts.
  • Coach individuals and manage team performance.
  • Act as Safeguarding lead for the team, ensuring health and safety checks and risk assessments are completed and recorded.
  • Promote the service, ensuring visibility and accessibility to referring agencies and self-referring customers; promote the brand in the community.
  • Ensure service quality evidenced by KPIs and customer satisfaction surveys; empower customers and colleagues alike.
You have
  • Great people skills and the ability to communicate and understand where people are in their life.
  • Confidence to challenge behaviours not aligned with our values and the ability to advocate for customers.
  • Experience in leading a team and empowering and developing others (preferred).
  • Experience delivering support in a housing or care environment.
  • Vehicle insured for business purposes (mileage paid).
  • Enhanced DBS check (paid for by us).
Our team

You'll join Senior Manager Kathy, along with Managers Elle and Debbie and our East Ipswich Mental Health Cluster team. We're passionate about what we do and proud of the support and creativity we use when supporting customers.

Job details
  • Open to discussing working hours.
  • Contribute to the on-call rota out of hours; occasional sleep-in shifts; manage your diary; prioritise workload and supervise colleagues and rota/meetings.
  • On-the-job role supporting colleagues and customers in services.
  • Able to use technology for managing tenancies, reviewing support plans and risk assessments, processing referrals, and reporting (Health and Safety, finances, incident management, rotas, HR processes).
  • Eligibility: DBS check required (we pay for it).
