Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Portfolio Manager to join our team at Succession Partners in Sydney CBD.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that involves managing a large portfolio of personal lines insurance clients while leading two brokers. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high retention levels and driving business growth through exceptional client service.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a large portfolio of personal lines insurance clients, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service and achieving high retention levels.
  • Lead two brokers, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to help them grow their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and meet business objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience broking insurance for domestic lines clients.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience, as you will have two reports.
  • Your tier 1 or Diploma qualification in insurance.
  • A driven and client-focused mentality, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
