
Lead Biomedical Instrument Specialist

As a biomedical engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of laboratory diagnostic instruments.
Key Responsibilities- Instrument Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of laboratory diagnostic instruments and automation systems to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operations.
- Equipment Deployment: Assist with the deployment and integration of new equipment in laboratory settings to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity.
- Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to technical issues and resolve them effectively to meet customer needs and expectations.
- Service Record Keeping: Maintain accurate service records, including inventory, service orders, and reports, to support business decisions and drive process improvements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) policies and compliance regulations to ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers alike.
- A bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field is required.
- A valid driver's license and permanent work rights in Australia are necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Windows environments and knowledge of LIS systems, Middleware Solutions, Linux, CAN-BUS, and interfacing principles are advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges are essential.
