We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Biomedical Engineer to fill the position.

Job Overview
  • Install, maintain, and service laboratory diagnostic instruments with national travel and flexible work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of laboratory diagnostic instruments and automation systems.
  • Assist with deploying new equipment in laboratory settings.
  • Respond promptly to technical issues and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate service records including inventory, service orders, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) policies and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and a valid driver's license and permanent work rights in Australia.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in MS Windows environments; knowledge of LIS systems, Middleware Solutions, Linux, CAN-BUS, and interfacing principles is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate self-organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
