We are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Biomedical Engineer to join our team.

  • Install, Maintain, and Service Laboratory Diagnostic Instruments: You will be responsible for ensuring that laboratory diagnostic instruments are installed, maintained, and serviced to the highest standard.
  • Deploy and Integrate New Equipment: You will work with our team to deploy and integrate new equipment in laboratory settings, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Respond to Technical Issues: You will respond promptly to technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Maintain Accurate Service Records: You will maintain accurate service records, including inventory, service orders, and reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure Compliance: You will ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Provide Technical Support: You will provide technical support and training to customers and stakeholders, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or a related field is required.
  • Valid Driver's License and Permanent Work Rights: A valid driver's license and permanent work rights in Australia are essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows Environments: Proficiency in MS Windows environments is required, with knowledge of LIS systems, middleware solutions, Linux, CAN-BUS, and interfacing principles being advantageous.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges are essential.
  • Ability to Work Independently: The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate strong self-organization is required.
