Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Water Well Driller to operate and supervise drill rig equipment at maximum efficiency while maintaining safety, environmental, and heritage standards.

About the Role:
  • Operate and maintain drilling equipment according to manufacturer specifications and industry procedures.
  • Drill and construct water bores as per project scope.
  • Identify and order necessary consumables and supplies to ensure continuous operation of the rig.
  • Demonstrate Fortescue values and adhere to Zero Harm principles daily.
  • Maintain assets to operational capacity and strive for process efficiency.
  • Effectively supervise drill crews and Trainee Drillers.
Requirements:
  • WA MC Driver's Licence.
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
  • Schedule 26 – Statutory supervisor (desirable).
  • RIIVEH305F Operate and Maintain a Four-Wheel Drive Vehicle.
  • Work Safe WA High Risk work Licence - FL, DG, CN.
  • Extensive experience with Foremost DR24HD or similar equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Class 1 or 2 Waterwell Driller's Licence – RA or RM endorsement.
  • Certificate III and IV in Drilling Operations.
  • Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act/Regs.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to lead multiple teams.
