Food Service Position

We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our university site in Canberra.

  • A clean and safe working environment is essential for the well-being of staff and students alike. You will be responsible for maintaining a tidy kitchen space, adhering to health and safety regulations, and reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.

  • Providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude is vital for building strong relationships with colleagues and customers. You should be approachable, responsive, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • To succeed in this role, you must have experience in commercial cooking and kitchen management. This may involve working in a variety of settings, including restaurants, cafes, or other food establishments.

  • A trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is required for this position. This will demonstrate your ability to prepare and present high-quality dishes, as well as manage kitchen operations effectively.
