Senior Premium and Credit Account Manager

Gallagher Bassett is a leading provider of claims and risk management services. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Premium and Credit Account Manager to join our team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional and customer-focused premium and credit management services for all Workers Compensation clients. This includes processing renewals and annual adjustments to premium, identifying and reporting risks that may adversely impact on the business, and understanding and complying with policies and procedures around securing and handling company and client information.
Key Responsibilities
- Process renewals and annual adjustments to premium in a timely and accurate manner
- Identify and report risks that may affect the business and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Comply with policies and procedures related to data security and confidentiality
- Achieve monthly productivity levels as designated by management
- Analyse and forecast client premium projections to inform business decisions
- Provide excellent customer service through prompt and effective communication
- Maintain employer information and workplace details to ensure accurate records
- Accurately assess and allocate Workers Compensation Industry Classifications, Premium Calculations, Succession & Grouping
- Resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines
- Create arrangements for premium repayment in line with GBS and VWA guidelines
- Comply with relevant legislation, including the Accident Compensation Act 1985 and Premiums Order
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed
- Pro-actively manage the debtor position to maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders
- Pursue ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Control the value, number, age, and proportion of outstanding premium while maintaining scheme benchmarks
- Investigate legal recovery action as required
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Premium and Credit Account Manager who can demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of Workers Compensation and premium management principles
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Industry-specific qualifications and experience a plus
- Coaching and mentoring skills highly regarded
