Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position based out of our office, but we are open to applications for other offices.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the onboarding, commercial compliance and commercial management of our national supply chain and supports client and supply chain commercial activities.

  • On-board supply chain members, prepare and execute subcontract agreements, manage compliance activities, and negotiate contracts within company framework.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to meet project demands, prepare procurement strategy, and complete selection and assessment processes.
  • Maintain commercial relationships with the supply chain to resolve commercial matters.
  • Maintain a compliant supply chain, including contract extensions, insurances, and notice issuance.
  • Manage commercial records and registers, including notices, insurances, and securities.
  • Identify and resolve compliance issues, including SOPA, licensing, and levies.
  • Develop and implement processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Support accurate and effective commercial and contract management of contracts up and down stream.
  • Track KPI/SLA performance and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare, review, and submit notices, including variations, compliance, and claims.
  • Support the management and resolution of defects, third-party damages, and complaints.
  • Support pre-contract activities, including contract reviews, risk management, pricing, and compliance documentation preparation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a bachelor's degree in engineering, law, business management, or similar with 3+ years' experience working in commercial/legal/contracts administration, ideally in the telecommunications industry.

You will also possess:

  • Working knowledge of standard forms of subcontracts and mechanisms.
  • Proven commercial acumen, including subcontract management, tendering, legal claims, administration, modelling, KPIs, and profit improvement.
  • Intermediate/Advanced user of Microsoft suite, Sharepoint, and JIRA.
  • Negotiating and influencing skills to achieve desired outcomes.
