We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Citrix to join our Endpoint Solutions (Digital Workplace) team. As a casual contractor, you will have the opportunity to engage in diverse projects within our Professional Services team, offering exposure to a wide range of technologies and experiences.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering virtual desktop solutions tailored to address clients' specific needs. You will work closely with key stakeholders to develop solutions, ensuring the best outcome for Logicalis customers. This includes technical, architecture, and solution design abilities, as well as validation of the solution with the Solution Architect, technical lead, and customer.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering relevant solutions for Logicalis customers through consultation, collaboration, and co-operation with key stakeholders;
  • Technical presentation of the solution to the customer;
  • Building the solution in accordance with Statement of Work (SoW), design, and project schedule;
  • Preparation of user guides, and coordination of user acceptance testing;
  • Creation of 'As built' documentation;
  • Facilitation and handover of 'As built' documentation to the customer;

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of modern technologies, platforms, and directory services, messaging systems, and unified communications and mobility.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Possesses relevant and current industry certifications;
  • Demonstrates knowledge of client issues, industry, and business operations;

You will require a minimum of 6 years of experience in a Professional Services environment with essential skills and knowledge including Citrix Desktop as a Service (DaaS), Citrix gold image management, Citrix FAS, ADC/NetScaler, XenApp and Xen Desktop, Provisioning services, Virtual Apps and Desktops, VMware, Profile management, Microsoft GPO/AD, Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills in enterprise level environments, Exposure to ITIL processes, attention to detail, and a passion and desire to develop and share knowledge.

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $120,000 AUD, based on location and industry standards.
