Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team at Cement Australia. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business development opportunities through existing and new customers.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue business development opportunities through existing and new customers
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, acting as the link between customers and Geocycle technical and production staff
- Research and gather market intelligence, reporting and acting on key findings
- Achieve sales targets and KPI's
- Play a key role in customer negotiations, winning new customers and customer complaint resolution
- Manage customer projects end to end, from initial lead to first delivery
- You have previous experience in sales, business development or account manager role, ideally in the waste or related industries. We are also open to recent university graduates.
- You have a natural ability to build rapport and great relationships with customers, and you aren't afraid to get in front of them
- You are analytical, commercially aware and able to navigate the technical components of our business
- You are tenacious, driven and willing to take on new challenges
- You have a keen desire to learn
- You stay across the detail and see projects through to ensure successful results
- Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in business, science or a related field
