Empowering Independence Support Worker

Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently.
We are seeking a dedicated support worker to assist our customers in achieving their goals.
The successful candidate will provide personalized support and mentorship, helping customers to develop essential life skills such as cooking, social skills, and medication management.
Responsibilities include:
- Mentoring and skill development
- Guiding customers to explore and develop their personal interests/hobbies
- Coaching independent living skills
- Administering medication and adherence to individual support plans
Additionally, the support worker will maintain accurate records, complete handover notes and incident reports, and provide personal care when required.
We are looking for someone who is willing to work a varied roster, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekend shifts.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a current driver's license, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and First Aid Certificate HLTAID003.
Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar would be highly beneficial.
