We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong track record in senior GIS roles. A proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience working within government departments and be familiar with the use of Python scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement effective data management solutions using geospatial technology.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify business requirements and provide solutions.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of geospatial data to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field such as GIS, IT or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a senior GIS role.
  • Proven expertise in Python programming language.
  • Experience working with ESRI ArcGIS software suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
