Job Opportunity

Court Liaison Officers play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health issues through the justice system.

Working closely with Local Court Magistrates, our team assesses defendants and provides recommendations for diversion into suitable treatment options.

The Role:
  • Assist Local Court Magistrates in diverting defendants with mental health issues away from custody and towards community-based services.
Essential Criteria:
  • Postgraduate qualification in mental health required.
  • Current NSW driver's license essential.
Required Skills:
  • Advanced mental health assessment and risk assessment skills.
  • Proven clinical leadership skills, including negotiation, problem-solving, and effective communication.
  • Working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Legislation.
