About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) at Swinburne University of Technology.

The successful candidate will provide consulting services to the Project Sponsor, coordinate the project team, vendors and internal stakeholders to plan the project, draft the business case and deliver the project. With a strong background in IT, particularly intranet and internet projects, you will be able to collaborate, coordinate and communicate effectively with project team members, including Subject Matter Experts, IT professionals, Enterprise Project Management Office professionals, legal teams, finance teams and external vendors.

This role requires an individual who can solve complex problems in a manner that works within a professional project management framework and unifies stakeholders to deliver the project positively.

Key Accountabilities
  • Deliver the project as approved by the Business Case.
  • Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk).
  • Work directly with university stakeholders and service partners to define project requirements, prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Identify project delivery resources required.
  • Lead project delivery resources/team providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals.
  • Execute project documentation governance aligned with ePMO governance and assurance requirements, ensuring project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.
Qualifications

To be suitable for this role, you will need to have:

  • A postgraduate level qualification in a relevant discipline and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

About This Opportunity

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months at our Hawthorn campus. The salary for this role is $93,473 per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
