Role Overview:

The position of Health Promotion Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating initiatives that promote health and wellbeing within communities.

  • Providing guidance and support to junior staff members or students as directed

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Health Promotion or Public Health
  • Advanced skills in health promotion initiative development, implementation and evaluation
  • A strong understanding of social determinants of health and their impact on communities and populations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
