Project Officer Job Description

As a Project Officer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of global health initiatives and cutting-edge pathogen research. You will play a key role in managing partnerships with key stakeholders and supporting vital projects at multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Global Health Initiatives: Support the delivery of strategic partnerships, ensuring harmonisation across work areas and engaging with key stakeholders.
  • Manage Research and Public Health Projects: Coordinate strategic initiatives, including research and public health project management.
  • Ensure Project Success: Monitor progress, track budgets and timelines, and support risk management.
  • Facilitate Communication: Draft reports, organise meetings, and liaise with diverse stakeholders to support project objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possess a tertiary qualification in public health, global health, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and project coordination.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability in responding to changing priorities.
