Job Description

Role Summary

The Department of Education and Training is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Principal to lead and manage the planning, delivery, evaluation, and improvement of education at Brighton Secondary College.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the school's educational programs and services to ensure high-quality learning outcomes for students.
  • Develop and implement school policies and procedures to promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage and allocate resources to support the school's educational programs and services.
  • Represent the school and the Department in the local community and at system-level activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student learning and well-being.
  • Monitor and evaluate the school's performance and make data-driven decisions to improve student outcomes.

Requirements

  • Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Experience in leading and managing educational programs and services.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with teachers, staff, parents, and the local community.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve student outcomes.
