The Australian Government is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Chief Executive Officer and Principal Registrar of the Administrative Review Tribunal. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new system of administrative review in Australia, supporting the President of the Tribunal in managing its administrative affairs and pursuing its objectives.
The successful applicant will lead with integrity and promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture. They will also manage the corporate and registry services of the Tribunal, establishing it for long-term success.
The Administrative Review Tribunal reviews government decisions in various areas, including migration, refugee visas, the NDIS, social services, child support, taxation, workers' compensation, Freedom of Information, veterans' entitlements, security, and other matters.
As the inaugural Principal Registrar, the successful applicant will be pivotal in setting up the Tribunal, finalizing the transition from the AAT, and ensuring its success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the President of the Tribunal in managing its administrative affairs
- Manage the corporate and registry services of the Tribunal
- Lead with integrity and promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture
- Establish the Tribunal for long-term success
