About the Role
The Australian Government is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer and Principal Registrar of the Administrative Review Tribunal. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of the new system of administrative review in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the President of the Tribunal in managing the Tribunal's administrative affairs and pursuing its objectives.
- Manage the corporate and registry services of the Tribunal.
- Lead the establishment of the Tribunal, finalizing the transition from the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and setting up the Tribunal for long-term success.
- Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
Requirements
- Suitably qualified persons who wish to be considered for a five-year appointment on a full-time basis.
- Expressions of interest are invited from individuals who can lead with integrity and promote a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
About the Tribunal
The Administrative Review Tribunal will review government decisions in a wide range of areas, including migration, refugee visas, the NDIS, social services, child support, taxation, workers' compensation, Freedom of Information, veterans' entitlements, security, and other matters.
