Job Opportunity

The Greenpeace Australia Pacific Board is responsible for upholding the organisation's values, mission and purpose.

The Board seeks two new directors to be appointed at the annual general meeting.

  • Ensure GPAP's mission remains clear and relevant as times change;
  • Provide strategic guidance on setting the direction of GPAP;
  • Monitor GPAP's programmes and activities to ensure alignment with GPAP's mission and achievement of short-term goals and long-term objectives;
  • Oversee executive performance by setting objectives and performance indicators for the CEO and regularly reviewing their progress;
  • Secure necessary resources to carry out GPAP's mission and sustain it;
  • Review and approve financial and other reporting to the Board and ensure adequate systems of internal control;
  • Verify that risk management systems are robust and appropriate;
  • Comply with governance standards.
