
People Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced People Operations Specialist to provide comprehensive support and advice to our leadership team in the Australian business unit.
- Lead recruitment activity, including managing job postings, interviews, and onboarding processes.
- Support the leadership team in implementing localised HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide timely advice on staff remuneration, benefits, promotions, performance management, and disciplinary/grievance issues.
- Manage and maintain our HRIS system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data.
- Support the leadership team with annual performance review processes, providing guidance on goal-setting, feedback, and coaching.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the energy sector, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication abilities to build and maintain effective relationships with staff at all levels.
A proactive attitude, high attention to detail, strong organisational skills, collaborative approach, and natural coaching style will be critical for success in this role.
Previous experience working with Workday or a comparable system is highly regarded.
About the RoleThis is a key position within our HR function, reporting directly to the Leadership Team. The successful candidate will work closely with department heads to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, as well as maintaining our HRIS system and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
In addition, you will provide guidance and support to the leadership team on performance management, remuneration, and benefits, ensuring that our employees are engaged, motivated, and equipped to perform at their best.
As a strategic partner to the leadership team, you will contribute to the development of HR initiatives and programs that drive business outcomes and support the growth of our organisation.
