Job Title:

The role of Training and Development Lead involves overseeing the creation, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of training programs across a variety of subjects. In this capacity, you will be responsible for guiding new employees through the induction, training, and their first six months of employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and coordinate prescribed training programs including foundational, child protection, and bespoke modules.
  • Lead onboarding and induction processes for all new staff members.
  • Track probation milestones and ensure a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and refine training content.
  • Maintain accurate training records and coordinate logistics.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their onboarding journey.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in training facilitation and development.
  • Background in child protection, OOHC, therapeutic care, and trauma-informed practice.
  • Strong coordination skills, including managing training logistics and maintaining records.
  • Ability to travel between Sydney and the Central Coast.
  • Relevant qualifications in Training & Assessment, Social Work, Community Services, or a related field.
