Health Care Specialist
Role Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Care Specialist to join our Child, Youth Mental Health Services team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality clinical care and social work services to consumers, carers and families accessing the service.
- Manage complex cases and provide senior clinical supervision, education and support to clinicians within the service.
- Participate in reviewing, evaluating and developing clinical service delivery, working collaboratively with the Service Manager and Clinical Lead.
- A bachelor or postgraduate degree in Social Work and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Recent, extensive and varied postgraduate clinical experience as a Level 2 Social Worker or above.
- Demonstrated expertise in contemporary practices in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, including knowledge of adolescent mental health issues and attachment difficulties.
- Experience in leading quality improvement activities, research and service evaluation processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with families experiencing significant distress and attachment difficulties.
