Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Services Professional to join our team at the Gatehouse Centre. As a key member of our community services, you will provide high-quality therapeutic and support services to children and young people who have experienced sexual violence or engaged in harmful/problematic sexual behaviour, and their non-offending family members.

About the Role:

This is a permanent, full-time position working 80 hours per fortnight across various locations, including Werribee and Melton, as well as at RCH, Parkville. Your responsibilities will include delivering evidence-based assessment, therapeutic interventions, and support to children/young people and their family members, contributing to a culture of open communication, teamwork, and lifelong learning, and developing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert assessment, therapeutic interventions, and support to children/young people and their family members.
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment that fosters open communication, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and relationship-building skills.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in a relevant discipline with current Board registration/eligibility for membership with a professional body.
  • Satisfaction of relevant discipline's continuing professional development standards.
  • A commitment to ethical practice.
