Job Summary
- As a Medical Officer, you will play a critical role in leading the informed consent process and making clinical assessments of potential trial participants.
- Monitoring participants on studies to optimize their safety is also a key responsibility.
- You will provide medical care to healthy volunteers and patients in Phase I trials and interpret sign-off on diagnostic test results.
- Collaboration with Project Management, Clinical Operations, Pharmacy, Laboratory Services, and Quality departments is essential for delivering safe and high-quality trials.
- Investigator responsibilities for early-phase clinical trials are also part of this role.
Key Qualifications
- Full AHPRA registration is required.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience post-internship is necessary.
- Part-time roles require availability to work 3 to 5 days per week across a 7-day roster.
