Commercial Officer Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Officer to join our team in Williamtown NSW. This role will involve reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, as well as managing commercial contracts and the Life Cycle Management process.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and draft commercial agreements, including contracts and procurement documents.
  • Manage commercial contracts and the Life Cycle Management process.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer requirements and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Support Procurement and Supply Chain colleagues in the preparation of sub-contract terms and conditions.
  • Work with the internal legal team to ensure all contracts have necessary legal input.
  • Contribute to major Life Cycle Management reviews and Request for Bid Approval process.
  • Support the Commercial Manager and other team members.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with MS Suite and intermediate knowledge of SharePoint and Oracle is desirable.
  • Eligibility to hold and maintain Defence security clearance.
