
Strategic Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Aerospace line of business as a Senior Commercial Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the best commercial outcomes for our customers and supporting the Australian Defence Forces.

This role is available at our Williamtown NSW office and offers hybrid work arrangements and flexibility.
About the Role- Key Responsibilities:
- Support all contract activity, including drafting and negotiating complex terms and conditions and associated agreements with customers.
- Manage end-to-end contract activities, including negotiating contract changes, customer correspondence, and managing claims, with minimal supervision.
- Provide specialist commercial advice to project managers and the wider business.
- Build and maintain internal and external customer stakeholder relationships.
- Support Contract and Bid Status Reviews.
- Draft moderately complex contracts/agreements with little supervision.
- E nsure the businesses financial and commercial exposures are addressed through appropriate commercial contract frameworks.
- Essential Qualifications:
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- Relevant experience in a commercial role.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Team orientation and a high level of flexibility.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and guidance.
- Computer literacy, with intermediate knowledge of MS Suite.
- Ability to hold and maintain Defence Security Clearance.
- International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance.
