Job Description:
Green spaces are crucial for our communities to connect with nature. As a Compliance Specialist - Risk and Governance, you will be responsible for building and embedding systems and frameworks to enhance our organisational approach to risk and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design a comprehensive framework that includes registers, policies, and assurance cadences.
- Own the IMS and establish document control protocols to ensure documents are current and audit-ready.
- Manage audit and QA cycles, schedule audits as required, and close actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Licence and certification oversight to proactively monitor and renew corporate licences, permits, and regulatory registrations.
- Environmental readiness, including managing MSDS registers, spill response, and emergency documentation.
- Ethical and regulatory reporting, delivering modern-slavery, ESG, and board dashboards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
10+ years' experience in a multi-site blue-collar environment
Tertiary qualification in risk, compliance, law, business or similar
Auditor training advantageous
