Compliance Specialist Job Description

This role supports the Team Leader in achieving strategic goals, undertaking proactive audits and inspections, and ensuring compliance with legislation.

The position requires a detailed understanding of relevant legislation and the ability to manage high workloads and meet customer service response levels.

The team leader will provide guidance and support to achieve Strategic Community & Operation Plan deliverables.

Audit and inspection duties will involve undertaking proactive audits and inspections in accordance with Council's development compliance programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience and education.
  • Detailed understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Proven ability to manage high workloads and meet customer service response levels.
