Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance & Maintenance Manager to join our Sydney team based at Rosehill.

About the Role:

GPSM is seeking a proactive and professional Compliance & Maintenance Manager to join our high-performing team. This is a pivotal role that ensures our operations not only meet legal and regulatory obligations but also align with our internal standards and industry best practices.

You will take ownership of reviewing compliance programs, overseeing vehicle maintenance schedules, and monitoring both employee and subcontractor safety and work hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports with actionable advice on Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance and fleet maintenance.
  • Manage CoR responsibilities for employees and subcontractors, including inductions and both internal and external training requirements.
  • Monitor fatigue and work hour compliance using Log Checker to ensure alignment with regulations.
  • Assist with Return to Work programs and investigate/report incidents as required.
  • Develop and implement action plans to meet compliance standards under NHVR, NHVAS, HVNL, WHS, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Coordinate with maintenance service providers and manage repair requisitions in line with NHVR accreditation.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in transport compliance and fleet management.
  • Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR, and relevant industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with NVHR Access Permits.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics systems such as Freighttracker and Log Checker.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines, with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt.
