About This Role

The Site Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing commercial activities related to subcontractors.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Understand the scope of work: contract specifications, drawings and schedules.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact and work with subcontractors to resolve problems.
  3. Identify risks and opportunities, develop a mitigation plan and escalate critical issues.
  4. Supervise daily activities and ensure work is executed as per business priorities (HSE, quality, schedule and budget) and contractual requirements.
  5. Coordinate work planning with all subcontractor trades and participate in daily planning meetings.
  6. Issue non-compliance reports to subcontractors.
  7. Monitor activities and provide progress reports (HSE, quality, schedule and budget).
  8. Coordinate change management process and manage claims with subcontractors.
  9. Approve timesheets, progress and invoicing.
  10. Manage weekly meetings with subcontractors (progress, performance, risks and opportunities, contractual issue review, invoicing, etc.) and issue meeting minutes.
  11. Obtain and maintain relevant subcontractor documentation as per the contract.
Your Profile:
  • Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • Able to drive project success with focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Prior experience in Construction Management.
  • Collaborative team player with customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
  • Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in an international team environment.
Work Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand, walk and climb as necessary.
Site Conditions:
  • A typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out.
  • Camp accommodation provided.
Key Qualifications:
  • Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of prior experience in construction management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
