Your Future RoleAs a Train Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between our Customer team and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise will be instrumental in preparing test implementation plans, assessing train capabilities, and coordinating testing activities.
You will work closely with Alstom Test Managers to generate failure reports, compile test reports, and ensure overall safety during testing. Additionally, you will manage test train configurations, conduct safety investigations, and report EHS events promptly.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement test plans, schedules, and resource allocation
- Serve as the single point of contact aboard allocated test trains, providing instructions to test drivers
- Assist in generating failure reports and compiling test reports
- Ensure overall safety (EHS) during testing and familiarize all individuals aboard with EHS regulations
- Manage test train configurations and conduct safety investigations
- On-field experience as a Test or Validation technician
- Strong understanding of Mainline and general Australian EHS and Rolling Stock safety laws
