About the Role

Capgemini is a global leader in partnering with companies to transform and manage their business by harnessing the power of technology. Our Domain operating model relies on skilled professionals to manage and coordinate delivery, and we are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of project management experience, with a focus on Agile and adaptive delivery models. They will be responsible for managing and coordinating delivery, partnering with product owners and engineering teams, and communicating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and facilitate execution of delivery plans across diverse Agile development teams
  • Manage financials, including obtaining estimates and resource plans to develop a consolidated forecast
  • Report and communicate progress to key stakeholders
  • Provide coaching to resolve issues across delivery squads
  • Facilitate Agile release execution and planning events
  • Manage dependencies and remove roadblocks to drive outcomes
  • Escalate issues, risks, and remove bottlenecks/impediments
  • Manage and optimize the flow of value and drive relentless improvement
  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Agile practices and mindsets
  • Manage release readiness, including SIT coordination and release approvals

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience, with a focus on accountability, critical thinking, and empowerment of squad members
  • At least 10 years of project management experience relating to major IT projects
  • Experience across Agile and adaptive delivery models and mindsets
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Good business awareness and commercial understanding
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence
  • Sound Big Data, Azure, Data/lake house knowledge, and technical and analytical background
