Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to lead our team and oversee the effective management and daily operations of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership experience in the disability sector, strong communication skills, and a commitment to empowering support workers to provide high-quality care.
- About the Role:
- This is a full-time permanent position working 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
- The successful candidate must have full-time Australian working rights.
Key Responsibilities:
- To guide and support clients and mentor support workers, highlighting the value of consistency and professional boundaries.
- To promote a person-centered, active support approach, giving our clients choice and control over their lives.
- To oversee the effective management and daily operations of SIL accommodation services.
- To foster a positive environment and maintain an open-door policy where staff and clients feel valued and safe.
- To assist in the development and implementation of NDIS plans, ensuring clients have a voice and actively supporting their independence, hobbies, and interests.
- To address performance management and conflict resolution as needed.
Requirements:
- A qualification (minimum Cert 4 equivalent) in the Social Services or relevant domain.
- Knowledge of relevant disability legislation and standards, e.g., NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, the National Standards for Disability Services.
- A NSW Drivers License, Current First Aid and CPR certification, NDISWC, and WWCC.
