Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and drive quality outcomes across residential, civil, and forensic engineering projects. As a senior structural engineer, you will lead the design of low to mid-rise residential, commercial, and industrial developments, investigate and report on structural issues for insurers, strata managers, and NCAT, and design civil structures including retaining walls, culverts, and drainage pits.


Responsibilities:
  • Design and lead the implementation of structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, builders, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of projects.
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide their technical development.
  • Conduct site inspections and investigations to identify and document structural defects and damage.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status (or nearly attainment).
  • 10+ years' experience in a consulting environment.
  • Proficient in concrete, steel, and timber design to Australian Standards.
  • Experience with software such as SpaceGass, RAPT, or similar preferred.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
